I'm a bit dissapointed as I just finished the huge download, and I want to play it.

Yes, I have had this as well.

The game was running fine 3 days ago when I purchased it initially, however, now whenever I try to load the game it says that "This profile is currently busy, please try again later."

It has been saying that for the last two days. :(

I emailed THQ's Tech Support to see what the problem is and what I can do to fix it. When/if I hear back from them with a fix I'll let you know.

In the mean time I'd suggest writing them an email asking for help in resolving the issue.

Don't email Relic, this is a Steam issue, and i imagine they'll redirect you to Steam Support. Save both your own and their time and head straight to Steam Support. I used to have this issue with games when the servers were overloaded, but it's not happened in well over a year.
Explain to steam support everything that's happened, and i'm sure they'll be happy to help you. Relic would only help with ingame issues, this is a Steam issue, as i said.
