I done this to listen and read the subtitles in spanish, but it also works with french italian and german. YouŽll need the following things:
Broken Sword 2
Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download)
The speech and text files of the euro game. Download them here (http://www.mediafire.com/?y1ai3fzaftygl)
With notepad++ open bsord2.ini and add the fllowing comand after speech_mute=false
language=x
wher x is your language, following the next rule:
Spanish => es
German => de
French => fr
Italian => it
English => en
So if you want the spanish audio you must add language=es
Also chage the \\ from the line of the extra pach to \ so you can view the cutscenes.
After this save the file (make a copy first). Now join the parts of the files of the euro version of the game, extract them, and copy them to the game base folder overwriting the original ones.
Congratulations now you can hear and read the game on your languaje.

For Broken Sword 3 you will need:

First of all, download all file before start. When you have downloaded and joined the game data delete all files and folders except "data.pak". After thar into your BS3 folder you have to overwrite that file and afer that go into data, and after that into streams.You have to put there your language folder. go backwards to data and then into movies an after that into pal, youhave to put there your language folder of the game videos.
Now go to originl BS3 folder and rename "BSTSD" to "BSTSD_BAK", and after that put your game exe file into it (for example for spanish the exe is bs3pcESP, for french is bs3pcFRE, for german is bs3pcGER and for italian is bs3pcITA), after that rename your exe to "BSTSD" (without "") so steam can launch it normaly.
