I just downloaded the complete series a couple of days a go, and just played it today. As my title says I have invisible units (not buildings just units). Are there any recommendations as to solving this problem?

it sounds like a corrupt install, thats all I can think of, you might not wanna hear this but a clean re-install might be in order, or get steam to check integrity of game files, surely defragmenting your hard drive couldn't hurt either.

Sounds more like a corrupt driver issue or a directx issue. What are your system specs, right down to the OS?

I have a Dell XPS M1530 with an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8300 @2.40GHz processor with a 4 GB memory and I have Windows 7. I downloaded the demo before and it worked fine.

Ah, laptop - does it have an integrated graphics card? What model card is it?

As for the demo working fine, it might, and i say might because i haven't played the demo and i'm not sure of your card, be because the demo is from an early version of the game. I don't suppose the demo keeps up with the patches. CoH started out as a DX9 game with some nice (at the time) graphics, but pretty mediocre for "now-a-days standards". Through many, many patches, the graphics have been vastly improved, and it's been brought up to DX10, which i think might be why the demo worked fine, but the game itself is buggy for you.

If your card isn't integrated, are you certain you have the latest drivers AND the latest Direct X version?

The card is a GeForce 8600M GT and I have DirectX 10.0

Ah, so it's got to be a driver issue. Are you certain you've got the latest drivers for your card? If so, have you tried what Renesco said? Verify the integrity, and if that doesn't work, reinstall?

Well I'm not sure how to check which drivers I have or how to check the integrity of the game.

Firstly, the easy thing, just right click the game in the Steam library, then click properties, then click the local files tab. Click verify integrity of game cache, and let it run. It'll make sure there are no missing or corrupt files on your installation.

As for updating your drivers, well, i'm not entirely sure on an Nvidia card, i'm using an ATi card. I'm sure there's guys in the forum who'll be happy to help with it.
