I realize this forum is for the steam version, but does anyone know what kind of DRM the boxed BF2 Complete Collection uses?

How many times can I install the games before having to contact EA?

thanks

BF2 is old. Back then, publishers didn't think limited activations were a good idea so you're good to go.

Also, patch 1.5 removes the disc check so there's practically no DRM at all.

Out of the box, just a disc check. With the 1.5 patch, nothing what so ever.

Oh, sweet. Thanks. Man though, this game took a little bit to get it to work on win 7.

Even if it had install limits, you could get them back by uninstalling the game. Something a lot of haters just don't seems to know.

So unless you install it on EVERY PC you see and get hardware failures on them all you're not really in any need to worry about it.

With many games, you actually have to download a deactivation tool that doesn't work.

Seriously. I had to run this deactivation for borderlands and it did nothing but crash as soon as it opened.

So you're pretty much screwed with it.
