skipping a mission in the campaign - is it possible?

i've been banging my head against the stupid chopper mission in arrowhead for several days now - the chopper controls have infuriated me for the last time...

is there any way to skip missions in the single player campaign? i hate it when developers put completely random missions like this in their games that just break the entire progression of a game, to the point of well, basically I'll never be able to finish the rest of the story, which is extremely frustrating, to say the least.

Anyways, just wonder - is it possible to hack the campaign files and skip these missions or something?
