A few days ago I talked to my cuz about Recettear.

He apparently bought the English version recently.
So, yes, he shared it with me, of course.
I'm not sure, but since I re-played my Japanese ver, I rather not have to loose the insanely godly stuff I've acquired there.
I'm wondering.
Is it safe(or possible) to transfer saves across versions?
(unsure, but I'm doing a hex run-over check to be sure it won't corrupt anything)

I'm pretty sure there are absolutely no problems, people have copied into the demo no prob, and I copied my demo file into my full with no problem.
Just copy the save.dat file. Though I'm sure you knew that.

Just be careful to make a copy of the save.dat and the original game save.dat incase it doesn't work.

Though it doesn't sound like they've tweaked the save code much (if at all) during the translation, so it'll likely be compatible.
