Patch's & updates

I notice that there are patch's and even MOD's here. Can thay actually be used in the steam versions of the Quake series

yes they can (now)
i am the other old guy... I had problems with crashes, so finally paid attenshun and saved the mods to the right folders ( ID1, Xatrix,Rogue)...but the sounds and graphics are rearranging themselves...grrrrrrrrr
