It runs fine except the skybox is giving me a strobe effect...it also did this in FO3..to a lesser extent.
Changing the settings and res does nothing...
It has to do with my 5970 rendering HDR and/or ambient occlusion at too fast a rate. And it's not like I can just take a card out.

This game and Fallout 3 are the only ones where it occurs.

I hope they fix this before New Vegas or I'm going back to Nvidia...as my 8800 GTX ran FO3 flawlessly.
FPS are fine...no other graphical errors but the strobe effect from the skybox is driving me nuts as it is unplayable.

Not that I won't loose any sleep as I got for free...just hope New Vegas doesn't have this problem.

Edit :

Never mind I just did a vbios update and installed the Alienware drivers ( 10.7 custom drivers for the 5970 )yesterday.
Should have started the game first to see if it was still there...it's not. Even the FO3 problem is gone.

Got at least a 20% fps increase in all games...even Metro 2033 at 19x12, DX11 ( tesselation and DOF on) never drops below 30.( even at the bridge and other fps crunching spots)
FPS in Metro..30 to 130

To the OP, is this a problem you encountered with RFG or one of the older games, is it an alieanware computer you have?

If so i will add it to my common problems thread!
