Help needed with graphical corruption

I just got the game during the sale and while I like the game play, I have the most annoying graphical corruption during land battles: When I zoom out until the interface disappears, I have black squares on certain points of the map and my units leave black trails when moving.

Does anybody know what to do? I have already installed the newest Catalyst driver, verified the game cache, and even deleted the game and downloaded it again.

My system:
Intel Core 2 Quad
4 GB RAM
ATI HD 4790
Windows 7 64

I am having this problem too.. It only happens on certain planet land battles!

My graphics setup is x2 ATI Radeon 3870HD Crossfire

ahh same problem .. did you ever get it fixed ? i find if you turn the shaders down to min they go away
