Anyone tried playing with a gamepad?

Ok i know this game doesn't support gamepads but i was wondering if anyone tried using a program like Xpadder or Pinnacle game profiler with it and if yes does it work well?

Cause I've been playing divinity 2 with my 360 gamepad using Pinnacle game profiler and it works flawlessly (unlike mass effect) so i was wondering if it was the same for this game.

Xpadder works fine.

One problem is that navigating through the menus were made for the mouse, and moving the cursor with an analog stick ain't that fun.

Second problem would be using your shortcuts (0-9 key).
