View Full Version : F1 2010 don't start!!

The preload button turned to Play! I clicked it, and it immediately said it needed to defrag the files! That took about 20 minutes. When it finished the defrag, it went thru 4 more installation steps. When it finishd those, nothing happened! I clicked the Play button again. Said it was preparing to Launch! Still nothing happened. I rebooted and started Steam over again. But that didn't improve the situation! It still will not Launch the game!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR. :mad::mad::mad:

It hasnt been released yet - it may have turned to play but the game is still locked up - just wait until Friday and Steam will unlock the files so we can play.

[EDIT] Sorry just realised release dates differ in different countries - UK is released Friday don't know about where you are from, but isn't America's release first, and thats being released tomorrow.

that happened to me, but i quickly canceled the defrag... seems like an error that it sees bad files before the decryption. May want to verify the game files and defrag again after the decryption
