Have you made sure your firewall isn't blocking GFWL? I assume you live in a country where the Live service is available.

dude i was playing since 2 days without problems, now it does not login anymore

Check your router that UPnP is enabled and NAT is moderate/open
Also try this test:

Same here. :) I had the game preloaded, waiting for it to unlock and then ... nothing. It just didn't launch. Trying to redownload now.

Works fine here. Make sure you're not typing the password in wrong, I did that twice before I figured it out.

if you have an error (connection error), try this:

1.) press Start -> Run. Type in CMD and press OK, you'll get a command prompt window.
2.) type " netsh winsock reset " (without the " ) and press enter.
3.) REBOOT YOUR PC
4.) again press Start -> Run. Type in CMD and press OK, you'll get a command prompt window.
5.) type " netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt " (without the ")
6.) REBOOT YOUR PC

If it still does not work, uninstall Games for Windows Live and reinstall it by using the gfwlivesetup.exe file located the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\f1 2010\Redist\GFWL

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKED FOR YOU !
