Hey guys, thought I'd make a thread about this mod here as well, with the first public version finally coming out next week. Platform is a mod inspired by Soldat and the likes of it, bringing HL2 to a 2D perspective. Even though most of the assets are the stock HL2 ones at the moment, I'm aiming to drive the gameplay away from the original HL2DM one in the long run, and most of the weapons have already been altered quite a lot from their original state.
I'm thinking of rounding up a team next (I need a modeler and possibly sound designer for now), but I decided to release a public version first instead of making announcements that I'm looking for a team without having anything but my ideas to show for it.
