MY Xbox360 controller not working with this game!! The only button that works is start, so I can pause the game but that's it!!

My controller works fine with SFIV and Dirt2 so it's not the controller that's busted....

I tried both the wireless and the wired connection.

Anyone else with the this problem?

No, mine works fine. Not sure what's wrong.

You turn the controller on before you launch the game right?

Sure I did... I was planning on reinstalling Windows anyway, so I'll try again after.

BTW. I also have a Belkin Nostromo n52t Speedpad and a simple Logitech keyboard hooked up to my PC. Could that cause problems?
I've read that they sometimes conflict with other peripherals Any idea on that?

Anywayz...be back in a few hours.

Mine doesnt work either, i have the wired controller, and its working in every other game i have. And this game doesn't even change back to keyboard even if i unplug the controller :S

So basically i cant play with the controller, and i cant play without it.

I have a wired controller too as well as a Logitech G15 keyboard and G5 mouse, and I'm not seeing any conflicts. It works without issues, so it's not the logitech drivers interfering. Perhaps it's the Belkin stuff, but if that n52 works well I doubt it's messing things up.

Unplugging the controller (outside the game, ingame does nothing) reverts it to mouse and keyboard mode.

I found a solution in this thread:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1441279

I too have a Logitech G19 Keyboard, a Belkin n52te, and a Roccat Kone mouse, and none of these is responsible for the conflict.

The issue seems to be some missing files. So try the solution of the original poster in the thread i am linking above. Worked for me 100%. I have the wired controller if that makes any difference.
