I've heard similar things from others. Being organized really pays off. Unfortunately I've also seen unorganized/new players try to join in without such good outcomes, lol.

15% isn't really that much; I'd say it was rather modest and totally necessary to get a corp anywhere as long as you leadership isnt just hoarding it to buy his own stuff.

My last corp I set the tax rate at 20% but i've been in corps with 100% tax before ( wormhole, so special case) but high tax isnt a bad thing if you use it wisely.

Depends how you look at it. When I'm in empire my tax rate is 0%. 15%, particularly when you're making isk that fast, adds up really quick.

Out in null, most I've ever payed was 10%, and that included ship reimbursement and some JF support....but I guess it's all relative...

total before tax = 585 Mil
tax = 87.75 Mil

after tax = 497.25 Mil

so i just brought a legion as i didn't like the slow absoluton with poor optimal i had brought yesterday...

seriously guys, if you can get into incursions they are the easiest way to make isk ingame...

over 3 days of incursions i ran 71 vanguard sites for 15Mil each and killed the mothership for 90Mil...

1.155 Billion before taxes... 971.75 Mil after tax.

People that say 15%+ tax is alright are corp directors and CEOs. Also ship reimbursement in high sec? LOL. Even more LOL @ corps that offer reimbursement only up to battlecruisers.

uh- i´ve never been in jita... just cant follow what you guys are talking about... things get nerfed, and some folks have no fun playing anymore ? why ? and what does "nerfed" mean anyway ?is it because the isk-income is less , so one cant buy plex easily to play on for free ? so players that are used to billions of income are quitting ? i´m just asking because i´still have fun - never bought a plex- my income is ridicolous compared to the numbers you are talking about.sorry for this noobish questions.

CCP advertise the game showing huge PVP fleet fights, all their recent changes to 0.0 make this harder to achieve.
they have made it harder to fund your pvp (unless you have a highsec lvl 4 mission grinding alt), harder to get around.

seems they are now trying to move away from large fleet fights to small gate camps as end game PVP...

i signed up as the thought of being in a large 2000+ man fight appealed to me. you can't get that in any other game.

also they seem to be doing nothing about the thousands of bots running 23/7 in the drone regions introducing tons of materials into the game and reducing the value of mining and mission loot for legit players

ah-ok .i see what you mean.and you are right- i´m some months in the game and never saw an large fleet fight like shown in the videos - not even when i entered some Incursion areas.these images are really something that you won´t find so easily in the game . i´m not so much into large battles in online games. i always prefer to stay in the shadows and do my own business- but you are right that a lot of stuff which looks "playable" in the vids is kind of different in game.but thats also the case with almost any other game.
anyway i wish i could at least once assist in such an epic battle like shown in the incursion vid.

When I posted that I gave my wallet balance to a friend... he was surprised with the 800 mil. Since then I hit incursions hard and made over 2 bil. Think I might farm these til I get bored.

Base was captured while i was away, isolating me from millions upon millions of assets as i can no longer dock there. Tried to escape the system to friendly space, was caught in a warp bubble, destroyed, and podded.

I'm looking forward to the 0.0 changes. There's too much carebearing in null as it's too risk-free to live there. Jump bridges, jump freighters, 40,000 person NAPs and BFFs, ad infinitum are destroying the game.

Although I do agree that CCP needs to do more about bots and RMT. It's really absurd that there are people in Russia that earn a full time living at EVE.

10 man armour fleet. 3 guardians, 7 dps - legion / loki / zealots
If you need to mine a guardian can pack mining drones, if you need to hack an ishtar can be used.

yay- i´m happy because i´m nearly hitting my 100 million mark... :P i plan on exploring a bit more - and hit 150 milllion- before i buy an new battlecruiser... i just want to have backup-money before i spend big time.my best combat ship atm is an Thrasher... so i explore high sec in my covert ops for now. when i get bored i have an nice ninja-vigil for some "shady-business" :D

Randomly decided to scan down a wh today for the first time in several months. Found a nice, anomaly and sig rich, C2, and raided it myself despite a large corp presence inside. Tired myself out after some 80% of the sites, but got greedy some hours later and went back.

2nd to last anomaly got jumped by a number of T2 cruisers. The explosion was glorious.

TLDR; lost an insured Drake with crapfit, made out with a net profit of 190m after replacing the ship. :cool:

nice ! i got nearly podded by two drakes in an "wormhole-gate-camp" yesterday- i got away in the last second with my precious cheeta all scratched and burned.

yeah-well asked - maybe they had some trick - but i think it was my fault. i was kind of distracted and tried to return to the gate and forgot to activate cloak again.stupid me ! so if i would have lost my ship it would be totally my fault.i don´t think they where actually camping- just taking advantage of my distraction.was an good lesson for me!
(normally when i loose a ship its my own dumbness...learning a bit every day :D )

I thought with wormholes that once you jump through one you are still in range to jump straight back through (after session change timer)

You can jump out once and then back through immediately, there is also no agression lock out so somone who has target and shot you can follow through right away.

once you have jumped out and back in though, at this point you will need to wait before your next jump, though why you'd want to repeatedly go in and out unless you were planning on collapsing it I wouldnt know.

Incidentally my day in new eden consisted of buying a high grade crystal implant set and a dread guristas XL shield booster to slap on my sliepnir.

the tengu pilot informed us he's just taken all his officer mods off the ship before he flew to us as he didn't trust us...

but still if you think you are flying into a trap you don't fly a 700 Mil ship.
we did try ransoming his tengu but he didn't respond in the given 30 seconds.


the harbinger pilot just said "gf" before we podded him. don't think he bothered to shoot back during the engagement.

Fountain is a nice place to roam. Lots of noobs that dont check local, especially when your character name starts with a Z, which means you're all the way down the list. After our campaign in WN space I'm going to move to fountain core and pew pew a bit together with the HUNS, godfathers and Fallen angels.

making highsec incusion farmers cry is funny...

been blitzing the highsec motherships or forcing the carebears to kill them so they don't get a chance to farm the incursions for isk...

only problem is the carebears think they are winning by killing the mothership...
as long as the incursion is dead goons win as they can't farm the sites for isk.
