High jump?

Sometimes, I notice that I seem to be able to jump very high from the ground. I think this happens when I just touch ground and jump again, but I can't replicate it and haven't been able to figure out how it works. The 'How to Play' doesn't mention it.
Anyone been able to figure out how to do it yet?

Keep moving and do regular jumps. It works like in Super Mario 64.

Yeah, the first time I did it accidentally I was totally LOLing over that. :D

Though I don't remember actually needing it to get anywhere. It's a bit hard to time since it take 3 running jumps.

Every third. She makes a little yell when she does it, just like mario does.

If you do a quick "double-tap" of the jump button, she'll do a "high jump", good for when in mid-air and wanting to try and get over to some ledge or wall to grab onto.

Holding sprint while jumping will help her do an extra long jump.

At certain parts you may find a "spring board" type thing on the ground that will launch her into a high jump, then double-tap jump while in mid-air to jump even higher.
