IMHO, YES, It is certainly worth buying.
Especially at the $15 Price, and you get Legend as well for yourself or to gift isn't bad at all.
However, If you are expecting another Tomb Raider game in the series, you will be disappointed.
Thats not saying the game is bad at all.
In fact, its quite fun! Just a different game and different playstyle.
It is not a "Tomb Raider" game,or anythin g like it so don't expect that.
The Only ressemblane is Lara is in it.
Grab the Demo & Try it out. i played the 1st level, and then went ahead and placed the order.
Pick it up before the 28th if you want the free copy of Legend as well though.

I'm about 4 hours in and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
Haven't tried Co-op yet (Which is offline only atm) but the game is pretty much the same exact thing on SP anyways.
Plus tons of replay value ahead with all the unlocks and such ;)
Short answer yes its worth it

Awesome game so far and I'm about 6 levels in or so. There is a lot of replay value too if you want to try to get all the weapons and artifacts and such. There are some cool physics-based puzzles and the action is fast and exciting. Once on-line co-op comes out, it will offer even more and of course there is a good deal of DLC scheduled as well. It's a really great offering for $15. I've played worse games that cost $50.

After playing the demo for about 2 hours now I have to say, without a doubt, the answer is: YES! This game is fantabulous. I would buy it right now if I had the moola. As it stands I am going to be milking the hell out of this demo until I can. I am loving this game. I'm also glad that they decided to release DLC for this game eventually as this is the perfect game for such a thing. I can see my friends and I playing a lot of this game once the online co-op gets implemented eventually. This game is definitely one of my favorite games played this year for sure.

IMO there hasn't been a good "Tombraider" game since Angel of Darkness ruined the series.:(:( Still for lousy "Tombraider" games , CD's misguided and sadly warped vision of what a TR game is supposed to be. They are still fun and well worth playing despite them trying to turn her into a action adventure game, the annoying button pressing quick time events, the removal of death traps, removal of save anywhere and the fact they are supposed to be "Tombraider" games not Drakes Fortune clones with a girl.
The GoL game while not officially a Tombraider game, shows more of the feel of a Tombraider game than any of CD efforts to date. I sincerely hope the real TR game they are working on supposedly does the same.:)
CD's TR games == lastest Splinter cell games == AvP2010 game sad sad echos of former greatness in an effort to homogenize and dumb down games for the casual market.

Of course LCGoL isn't a part of the Tomb Raider series you idiot. Crystal Dynamics mentioned that after the announcement.
Stop being biased because you are saddened that Core has gone. Get over it.
