View Full Version : Anyone use a money order on Newegg before?

Sent my money order on a new motherboard, CPU, heatsink/fan on Friday, it was delivered on Monday around noon (PST)

It's now Tuesday morning and the order is still on Processing...

Anyone ever used a money order with Newegg before? If so how long did it take for your order to ship?

I used a postal money order btw, they shouldn't have to verify it as it's a government check.

I order from Newegg all the time money order, paypal, MC, Visa...Etc. The processing time for Money order was I believe 24-48 hours for me.

lol they got it monday and today is tuesday. give em some time.

I assume you mean the processing time after they received the check -- my only confusion is, they received my check yesterday but I still haven't received a confirmation e-mail for that.

I did read that, but this check can't be cleared with a bank. It's a government check, sent by postal money order. Figured that wouldn't need too much processing time.

Yeah I realize it's only been a day, just asking people what their experience with money orders and Newegg has been. I've read horror stories of people claiming it took weeks so I got a bit worried.

It takes one to two business days for them to process an order once the payment has been verified.
