Hello,
I have recently bought a new computer:
AMD Phenom II x6 1055t
4096 MBytes of Ram
1T of Memory
And when i launch SWG its fine but as soon as I try to enter the game it closes with a sort of problem.
Someone told me it was because it was to old, and my computer had to much ram. So i am trying to turn it down to 1.5GB ofs ram.
Does anyone else have this problem or another solution?

What is SWG?

Possibly Star Wars Galaxies?
Also, I wouldn't try to limit RAM if I were you. But if you really want to, don't do it physically, edit Windows boot records.
For XP: run the command "bootcfg /Addsw /MM 1536". To undo, run the command "bootcfg /Rmsw /MM".
For Vista/7: "bcdedit /set TRUNCATEMEMORY 1610612736". To undo, "bcdedit /deletevalue TRUNCATEMEMORY"
I do not recommend even trying it, but that's safer than physically removing RAM.

with a sort of problem
A little more information would be helpful, like a screenshot or transcript of the error.

Somehow he forgot to mention his videocard. Maybe he doesn't have one, that could be the problem.

Where do I type that, and I've got a video card.
Thanks for trying to help me.
Edit - I try to open bcdedit but it shuts immediately.

That's normal. It doesn't mean it's not working,
It's a command-line program, you should first start cmd.exe and then work from there if you want to see the output.
Then again, I doubt it will do you any good.

Ok... So what should i do to get it to work....
It says:
"SwgClient_r has stopped working"
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available."
Any ideas?

Is there a "show details" button on the bottom of this dialog?
If not, search for "Event log" in your Control Panel, details will be available there.

If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, SWG doesn't like to run on those OS.
Try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP2.
Also run it as admin.

Runs OK for me in Windows 7 x64, however I do run with UAC disabled.
