Right, so I have this computer that I want and a limited budget: 1,400 after shipping and handling and taxes [1,500 if we really can't cut any costs].
Four things: 1. I really don't want to change my CPU and GPU
2. I don't care about Crossfire or any ideas of future-proofing.
3. I need room for a good gaming mouse [Lachesis O: ?] and a keyboard with backlight and possibly wireless network card.
4. Components must be found on this configurator: http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/index.php?action=getprice&id=3294556&platformid=1000
5. I'm really paranoid about overheating.
6. There's no negotiation as to considering building it myself, if I had that choice, I would.
Here's my build:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core Processor AM3 3.4GHZ 8MB Cache 125W 45NM Retail Box: $190.92

NCIX doesn't do coupons, best you do is pricematch with a competitor.
Use PriceBat or pricecanada to check the prices from other stores.

I'm using their PC Builder, so I'm not buying from other people.

Video card would be the best place to cut cost, HD5770
Is this the build i helped out with the other day?
oh cpu have a look at this http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/pcbuilderpreview.cfm?id=3294556&skus=47459-1-0|41337-1-0|53570-1-0|42870-1-0|50067-1-0|46039-1-0|26414-1-0|40922-1-0|45271-1-0|36050-1-0|45429-1-0|33602-1-0|31543-1-0|7842-50

Yep.
And I don't want to reduce the GPU ): 5770 sounds weaker than the 5850.
My old Dell Laptop came with a reinstallation Windows 7 64-bit Disc. Will that work on my PC? If so, that's 124 dollars less :3

5770 is weaker hell you would do well with a hd4870/90 at that rez if dx 11 is a non issue
I don't think the reinstall disc will work as it will be setup for the dell Hardware..

I have a powerful CPU I want a powerful GPU to play a lot of the games at a high quality. Can't we just reduce the case, PSU, etc?

Isn't that PSU a bit low? 520?
Doesn't AMD work not so well with Nvidia?
I have no idea if that Mobo is good or not. What was wrong with the other one?

Using this to measure.

nothing wrong with the other mobo just cutting cost.
CPU's/Mobo's don't care what graphic's card you use..
520W should be more than enough..

700W's is crazy you can run 2 graphic's card's on 700W's
check out this PSU (http://www.antec.outervision.com/PSUEngine) calculator
Approx 396 W
Seagate HDD's are fine I'm running a 7200.12 hasn't missed a beat..

I would not recommend a PSU if i didn't think it was up to scratch
the price difference in motherboard is usually due to chipset's and other features not build quality unless you are looking at a bargain brand like Asrock or Foxconn..

Pros: Easy install. Windows 7 32-bit works perfectly with it. I play all current games at 1680x1050 with all details, AA, AF maxed out, and have no complaints. The noise from the card is almost non-existent, quietest card I've ever seen with a cooling system. The temperature is also quite cool compared to other cards in this range.
Cons: Just make sure you have a good power supply. I had a 450W which could not run this card with all my other stuff. I upgraded to a Thermaltake 850W and it runs like a charm.
Other Thoughts: I originally bought a Radeon 5770, which was a little cheaper, but I had all kinds of problems with it. I returned it and decided to kick in a little mor money and get this card and I am so glad I did. My friend has a 5770 and this card blows it away.
says I need a higher psu and the video card doesn't evenhave a gig of ram :x

A good display uses a 1920x1080, 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 resolution. You picked a 1600x900 display. In terms of pixels for the GPU to push, it's 1.4 million pixels vs 2 million, 2.3 million and 4 million pixels. With only 1.4 million pixels, you'd be fine with a 5770. Alternatively, if you don't need or care about DX11 features, you could go with the DX10 option and get the 4870/4890.
Long story short, you can reduce the GPU because it won't effect the quality you can play the games at. If anything, if quality is that important to you, you should select a better display.
I don't really trust Seagate. I was using ibuypower earlier and it claimed I needed 700 watts
A store recommends a more powerful PSU? Jeez, I wonder if there's any ulterior motive... Like a larger profit margin.
PSU calculators, especially the one provide by stores, tend to present a worst case scenario. A more realistic one, sadly lost the address, would rate your system at 400-450 Watt. 500W would be tight. 600W would be nice. 700W would be future proof.

If anything you should put it together yourself instead of paying someone hundreds of dollars for the adult equivalent of snapping together legos.
