Getting an error while loading street fighter

i keep getting an error message "failed resetting direct3D device" or something like that every time i start SF. i looked all over the web but havent found a solution yet, can anyone help me out? thanks!

Sounds like a problem with your video card. What's your card model? In the meantime, update your drivers.
