NBA 2k11: Worth Playing if I Only Have Mouse and Keyboard?

Is NBA 2k11 worth playing if I just have a mouse and keyboard setup? It seems like a game that would really need a controller. Has anyone played it with their M&K?

Yeah you definatley need a controller to play this properly - they are pretty cheap.

Yes it worth playing. Keyboard controls are much improved now.

You can play it only with keyboard...but you will found a contorller is nesscery,360 contorller is the best

I use my ps3 controller with it, and it works great

It technically would be really easily possible to play this game if it was not coded by the biggest bunch of lazy cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s

Simply put, you can change keypresses for offense and defense to any key,

however, where the moron part comes in.. if you change say shoot to spacebar, then go change block/rebound to spacebar, it changes your shoot button to something else

Utterly ♥♥♥♥ing ridiculous.


But let me save you $350 and let me tell you why you should not buy this game period for teh PC

I have 35 years of arcade and gaming action... I am very high skilled in FPS shooters with mouse keyboard and any control. I play guitar, I was an all star athlete in high school going into collego for a pro career before being diagnosed with arthritis.. Just trying to specify, i am very hand-eye coordinated player. Not some nub, i also can type over 100 wpm. and know the keyboard very well

I bought it last night, i spend 2 hours configuring it and getting it right.. After failing with the keyboard, i used my logitech cordless rumblepad 2 controll.. a nice stick

The first problem is this.. everytime you boot up the ♥♥♥♥ing game, even though you save your joystick 9 times, its always different....

The response on shooting is so ♥♥♥♥ing sad, you miss shot after shot and start hitting other buttons cuz you dont realize why ♥♥♥♥ aint working so you think you are hitting the wrong buttons

In about only 90 seconds you are flinging your gamepad across the room..

I am not a tempered person, i am very laid back..

Already this game in 1 hour time today has resulted in a ♥♥♥♥ing chip of wood on my brand new wood desk as i slammed the dam controller into it.

Already have I threw the controller into the wall and have 2 nice dashes in the wall and a controller that now has plastic parts rattling inside of it..

It really gets to you when something triggers the REPLAY function,
and guess what,, the B button (whatever the ♥♥♥♥ B is) does not register and you can not exit replay.. forcing a alt-f4 to end the game this happens every 5 minutes and cost me another $120
as i threw my gamepad out the window and am now installing that..

And what the ♥♥♥♥ is up with this simulation bull♥♥♥♥.. give me a god dam game i can play and have fun with...

STEAL PASS, cuz they are blocking the lane.. well what the ♥♥♥♥ mOve my god dam player so he can get the ♥♥♥♥ing pass, i cant control all 5 of the ♥♥♥♥ suckers..

I hate thie game with a passion. It has 0 playbility.. its just a stupid pathetic simulation, so some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ animator can act cool going i made that.. who cares the gameplay sucks

i agree with this guy... the game is junk. It looks nice. You want to play it but it just doesnt work.

They use words like Quit/Dismiss for the back function.

I played a champion game and won and it didnt register..

feels like your team doesnt work with you.

settings dont save and for some reason you have to save your settings, player, game and everything separate.

Im trying but yuck
