Game crashes on startup

Hi, just finished downloading this game via steam and launched it as I normally would.

It loaded fine, everything looked like it was working, got to the window that states "This icon is the autosave blah blah, press enter to continue"

As soon as I hit enter, and then it brings up the loading bar, WHAM, crashed.

I run Windows 7 64bit, my Graphic card drivers are fully up to date, and as far as I know everything on my end is working fine.

Any suggestions to get this game to work?

After restarting my computer I noticed that Steam started downloading something, what I noticed was that the game said it finished downloading, but it actually didn't so it resumed the rest of the download after the restart.

Hopefully, once its completed, I can say if this has fixed the issue I had when launching the game.

The game now works fully, I suggest to anyone who's having crashing issues with this game restart their computer and allow steam to continue downloading.

One that has finished the game should work perfectly fine.
