Broken Tutorial

Just got the game, and I'm trying to start the campaign, but I can't get past the tutorial, now I thought I was missing something obvious, but I found a video here (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5uit-Sez14&feature=player_embedded) which is a guide to the first level. For me only the first gate/checkpoint appears, and I do not get that woman telling me what to do, all I get is pass through the first gate as the helicopter takes off and that's it. Anyone else having that problem? Is there a fix? Can't make any progress in the game at all with this bug. Bleh.

Never seen this problem so I'll try the obvious answers.

Start over and try again.
Shoot and run and jump around, try to set off the next trigger so the tutorial continues.

Try verifying your game cache.
- Right click the game in steam library
- Click properties.
- Click Local files tab
- Then verify integrity of game cache.

A corrupted download can do weird things to any game and it may just be one or two files causing the problem.

eg. I had missing subtitles and menu items in Overlord, yet the game played fine if you knew where to click. In the end, it was only one small file that had to be redownloaded :)
