Main Menu/Text Problem

Hello,

I tried reinstalling cod and cod:uo today and I can load the game just fine but am unable to see the main menu/text in either game, or anything in the console (including any text that I type). I tried reinstalling with no luck and tried google without any luck.

Here is what I see/don't see:

same problem to me, but i can not start a new game it takes me always back to the menu with a message but its a CoD message so i can not read it. i also tried everything, nothing matches.
