So I just purchased Audiosurf, and am really excited to start playing. See, my iTunes library is not on the same computer as the one with Audiosurf. so, I download iTunes on my AudioSurf computer and transfer a few songs over via flash drive.

Problem 1: I can't find any of my iTunes songs in the song menu in Audiosurf. When I clikc iTunes in-game, it says I have a Media folder and an Artwork folder, neither of which contain any songs. However, my library DOES have songs in it. How do I access them?

Problem 2: I dropped the transferred files into My Music so that I could bypass iTunes altogether and just play the songs. thing is, the game keeps telling me I don't have Quicktime installed and I need it to play them. Guess what? I DO have Quicktime installed. why doesn't it know that? Help please?

Hum, strange... All my songs on my computer are on my iTunes and Audiosurf plays them without trouble even some songs I downloaded from the iTunes store. Try using Apple software updating and it may tells you that your Quicktime is not up to date so make it do an update and things should works.

It's all up to date. Where are your iTunes songs located in the game? In the same area as the aforementioned artwork/media options?

Convert the files to mp3.

Is that legal? To convert the files? I know iTunes doesn't like you to mess with that kind of stuff and encrypts the songs so that they don't function right outside of iTunes for just that reason.

I thought they didn't do that anymore. I may be mistaken though.

I think you can convert your files to whatever you want as long as you don't redistribute them.

Or you can do what's suggested in the game tips, burn the songs on a CD.

I don't get it... All of my songs purchased and copied using iTunes (YES, the M4As) are perfectly playable, hidden in Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music. Have you tried looking inside the Media folder?

Couldn't you download iTunes onto that computer, log into your account and redownload the songs?
