mic problem on server

Not for sure if it the orange box update that's causing this but here goes. I'm running a dedicatied server on my computer. I notice that everyones mic sound is ok on the first map, but when the server changes maps after timelimit or fraglimit is reached, everyones mic start to sound distorted or really bad.

One person says that my server is choking for some reason. If this is true why is that and is there any way to fix it?

otherwise is there anything I need to look at to fix this mic problem?

found out the mic problem but also relised there is another problem but with the forums here.

Fisrt of all my mic problem was in the server.cfg I had to comment out the command to load the codec. seems like mic was ok on first map but when the server cycled to a different map. I notice the server.cfg was loaded again and think the codec was loaded on top of the original codec.

Second: Thinking that someone who reads the forums might've helped out here. But I guess wrong. It's been almost a month now and no one has reply'd or even asked any more indepth question about the problem. Reading along other threads I see alot of reply's of ppl either trying/looking or just out an about argue to the author of their thread. Is the puter everyone's BABYSITTER! The babbysitter needs to be fired.
