Greetings all
I'm one of die-hard fans of DeusEx, and after listening to the music/remixes lately I've decided that it is time to immerse myself in this amazing world once again.
To my joy, I've found znokiss' graphics improvement tutorial, as well as mentions about this awesome mod called Shifter.
Well, I got myself to work, downloaded&installed whole bunch of things and it works! ... Mostly... :/
With Shifter, alternate fire doesn't work (1.8.3) - no matter how hard I try my alternate fire button ALWAYS drops/throws item (at the same time, drop/throw key does the same). I've found that one guy in comments on shifter mod site had same problem, but no replies. Any ideas? I've reinstalled the whole thing to no avail.
Also, I've read about this ultra-hard Unrealistic mod... Doesn't work (allegedly right-clicking on "Realistic" should do it, but nothing happens). I even went to Multiplayer, but couldn't figure that out - I'd appreciate your input.
Finally (this is more for znokiss really) - when I followed znokiss' ultimage tutorial to the letter it works, but for some reason the floors are hideous, like I'm walking through the mud!
In one of the users screenshots here (http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/9809/72777653.jpg) I can see mirror-like floors, well I've got nothing like that! (http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/9809/72777653.jpg) (btw in-game it looks less dark than on screenshots, for some reason...)

Ah, and when I start the game the screen stays black (music and sounds are on, but nothing on screen), I have to Alt/tab to the desktop and back, and then it all works fine.
I've got Win7 ultimate, GeForce 9600GT.
If someone could shed some light on my issues I'd deeply appreciate that... :)
