Why isnt the Buy Option Showing?

I just heard about this game and want it. I was going to buy it, but noticed that when I click on the link for the game Lost Planet 2. It doesn't have a buy option.

The only thing I can do is add it to my wishlist? Is there something that I am missing? I have tried searching for the game and clicking on that link. Still no option to buy. And yes I know what I am doing. I own 43 games through steam so far. :P

Ive tried doing a search and clicking on the result lost planet 2 link

All same problem. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

its been taken down as the game is broken at the moment so its been took off the store till they release a fix no point trying to sell you a game that doesnt work!

Wow thats the first time I've heard of steam doing that before. I am impressed if thats the reason it got taken down.

well i think that must be the reason once u download the game and install it... it loads up asks you to apply a patch and when u do that the game stops working!!!!!!

well.. probably not steams fault.. doesn't matter who's fault it is really.. things like this should not happen.. ever..

Steam, however, should be more informative about it.. as of right now, the only thing i know is that there might or might not be someone working on it..

Game still works provided you don't update. Sadly if you don't update you don't have access to the online functions. I'm still going through the main game however so I can rush through it and gain levels for the characters.

i would rather start on zero like i planned to on coop rather then having some character maxed out from the start? doesnt the gaining levels just give u new clothes anyway? or what else does it do?

You unlock clothing pieces but you also gather boxes. Boxes contain either money or unlocks. The money you use on a sort of gamble where you roll through a list of gestures, abilities, dog tag names, or weapons. On my first roll I unlocked sticky grenades level 3. What does this do? More boom and more sticky grenades I can hold.

ha cool thanks for the info david still would rather play it online with everyone equal but if it dont get fixed soon i might play it anyway as SP running out of patience!

If you're planning on playing co-op and wanting equality, don't expect the same from everyone else. Just because one person has a more powerful gun than the other in co-op doesn't make it unbalanced, it makes it so you can blaze a trail faster and level the other guys quicker.

thats true david but if this game had actually worked on launch then the people i was planning on playing with would have all been equal to me... oh well lol

Yes, single player, multiplayer work.
