Defaulting to Easy in Campaign. Why?

Anyone else experience setting your difficulty only to find out later the game has switched it back to easy? Furthermore, why doesn't it allow you to change it back?:eek:

Because this game is made to be played on easy (for men at least).
Masochists play on Normal.
Cheaters/Emperors play on hard.

Heck I set mine to easy, then played a mission on hard to see what it would be like, and found my campaign to suddenly be set to hard >.> So I'm having quite the opposite issue with my campaign, although its...a pretty simple fix.

You can switch this in the options. Dont remember the category, but its pretty obvious.
