I registered with ubi.com, and in SH4 went to MULTIPLAYER.
I tried logging onto ubi.com - and I believe I did so successfully, but it takes me to an empty server list. ()the reason I believe i logged in is that when I type in a known incorrect password, it tells me so - so it seems it is COMMUNICATING with the serve,r if not just to authenticate)
Ubi's first response was that my router settings were wrong. When I explained to them that the ports were set correctly, i also checked to see if the LAN functionality was working - it wasn't. Only thing that would appear to get in the way of a LAN session would be a windows or third party firewall software - and this is not the cae on either of these systems.
Ubi then just told me that they do not support Windows 7 and they can not help me.
PLEASE, someone give me some hint as to what is going on here.
<edit> Checked with a friend who also purchased SH4 thru steam and he is having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!!! Anyone else out there?
thx
