Hey.
Everytime I try to load it it says: "Failed to find steam"

I have looked across these forums and have not seen any fix yet:(
I hope you can help me, thanks.

Are you launching from Steam or from the directory it is in?

I am having the same problem in Win7 (32bit). It ran fine on Vista so I assume its a Win7.
Any ideas how to fix this?

if its works with vista should work with windows 7.
Try running in compatability mode

I actually worked this out. For some reason, the COD exe was set to run as administrator and that was causing the dramas.
Anyway, removed that option and it runs normally now.

I have no idea why it was set to admin. I may have fiddled with the settings in a drunken stupor, but I don't think I have had any drunken stupors since installing Win7.
