All saves lost WTF

This happened to me too. :-/ I just purchased the game yesterday and played through a few of the campaign missions. Saved and exited. Loaded the game up again today and I had to reenter the CD-Key and everything was wiped (saves, wins, achievements, etc).

The exact same happened to me as well. Everything was reset the day after I bought it.

I've tried to search for where the game store its save games so I can back them up from time to time, but can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have a tip?

C:\Users\[name of user]\AppData\Roaming\Tropico 3

I don't know what "ExSaves" folder is.
