When did this come on Steam?

I have the stand alone version. Is there any difference between that and the Steam version? Also have the stand alone version of Far Cry 2.. Any differences there as well?

It's been around since April 1, 2008, straight from the store page. I don't think there's any differences between the Steam and retail version of Far Cry. The Steam version of FC2 comes with the Fortune's DLC.
