Could it be possible for Valve to release Source Filmmaker so that questionable methods of acquiring won't be necessary?

I would like to add that I would like another Source Benchmark for the current source engine build. I think the last release was 2007 (on the island...shows some half life animations and characters).

No. Library > Tools > Source SDK 2007

Load that up, main menu options will give you a "Benchmark" option you can click on. For instance I registered at 130fps avg through out the benchmark.

You'll probably get that when the Source SDK (Base) 2009 is released
