IMPORTANT - Turn Shader Model to 4.0
The highest Shader Model gives me a big boost.
IMPORTANT - Validate Cryostasis's files, there is a little PhysX patch that will not be downloaded otherwise, after you validate, it will say 2 files failed and redownload them.
Texture Resolution - Turn Down, affects image
Normal Map - Turn Down, barely affects image
Specular Map - Turn Down, barely affects image
Shadows:
High - Soft Shadows
Medium - Sharp, unnatural looking
Low - No shadows
The Texture Resolution affects the Image the most, then Shadows.
If you can turn the Normal/Specular maps down first, as they do almost nothing.

I also found the Motion blur affects the game quite heavily. My computer manages to run most any game at 60 FPS, except for certain areas of Metro 2033, and Cryostasis (which is weird, since it runs AvP and Crysis: Warhead on full no problem). But, once I turned down the motion blur in Cryostasis, everything was fine.

I found things such as motion blur, anti aliasing and shadows slow down the game a bit so either turning them down or off can improve performance greatly.

Okay, so I have an AMD Phenom (tm) II N830 Triple Core Processor 2.10 GHz. Im not computer savvy so I really dont know what this will or wont allow me to do. Any suggestions on how to get a good game play experience out of this?

I gotta say this little fixed helped quite a bit. This is a huge improvement after doing this fix.
I'm running a geforce 250 GTS and can put every thing at roughly medium with phyx at 4.0 with most every thing on.
I'm getting pretty playable frames, it only dips just a little when going in large rooms other then that it's doin pretty good.
Thanks for the tip I appreciate it!

Although motion blur makes the game seem much smoother when you move the mouse around. If at all your system can handle motion blur, I'd recommend leaving it on, as it'll make a mediocre framerate look good (plus it makes it look cooler - more cinematic).
btw, thanks sabot00 for the tips.
