Hi folks, hoping someone might be able to assist here

After a lot of fault finding (As I usually don't have probs with Steam or GFWL) I have noticed that GFWL is saying "Internet IP Address Not Signed In" and so the UPnP section also says Not Signed In too and it's not picking up my PC account

Other Steam games like Dawn of War 2 are connecting fine so I know the GFWL part is set up ok and usually auto signs me in. I've even logged onto GFWL "client" without going through a game and that's fine too, only RFG seems to be having problems

I'm now at a loss... any help would be appreciated

PS Must add that I have an Open NAT, firewall has been switched off, router has also been reset as has the PC, and I've verified the install

I've now removed my wireless router from the network and I'm plugged in directly, still no external IP address being picked up

I've also followed instructions on how to patch the game manually and even installed raptr, not made any difference

I am so lost it's not funny... please throw some help my way!

This sounds like a games for windows live problem, have you tried looking on their website?

Yeah it does sound like a MS issue I'll admit

I've disconnected my router entirely now, plugged straight into my hardcoded ISP cable modem which I can't alter. Then again other games are fine on GFWL so why this one game hates me I have no idea

I've done searches but can't seem to find anything that refers to this issue specifically... lots have problems with a patch not installing through GFWL but I can't even get that far! lol

Best bet then is to post on their forum (would not advise ringing them it'l likely cost-a-lot).

Thanks cdeathkd, tried those 2 fixes just in case but no joy... still, it was worth a try! I've submitted a Steam Support ticket and will see how that goes

I just found out that when xbox.com has a new Terms of Use agreement, you have to sign in there, accept it, then GFWL will connect again. I think it affects any gfwl game, so hope this helps everyone.

Good greif thats a bit much. I always use an offline profile as the idea of connecting to the internet to play a singleplayer game is somewhat rediculous.
