Titan Quest Gold For $5?

I took a flier on it. Figured if I get a half hour of fun out of it it will have more than paid for itself. I'm an action RPG fan so I hope I like it. I've played more in the line of Diablo/Diablo II/Torchlight though.

Cool, it sounds like it should be fun for a while. I'll have to DL it and give it a play this weekend.

yep, it is a good game.
if you like the setting, you'll have a good time.

played it back then, though I lost interest cause I bored enough to raise my own cash and attributes to get new abilities, and somehow this pushed my char too high to let the game be challenging at all.

Aside from that, the game is pretty nice and is well worth those few bucks!

I got Titan Quest in a sale a while ago and it pleasantly surprised me. It's pretty enjoyable. Losing my saves kind of killed it for me but it's a lot of fun.

As a player of both Torchlight and Titan Quest, I must say that I prefer TQ significantly. However, I have never played the Diablo games.

Oh, and it's well-worth the $5. I bought it during a previous sale for twice the amount, and I don't regret paying more for it AT ALL. FYI - buy the Gold edition, install both the base game and the expansion, and then play it through the shortcut for the expansion. Immortal Throne adds A LOT of stuff to the game. Check out the Store description and other threads on this forum for the specifics.

This is one of the best games I've bought through Steam, and I've got about 80 hours in it so far.

Before you play the game though, you should install the fanpatch available here (http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/threads/29712-REL-Bugfix-patch-1.17), that fixes many of the bugs that the developers were never able to.

bought it on steam after playing the demo... but it wont install because it says it is pending. Figures Steam cant supply the game when they put it on sale.
