TQIT and Windows 7?

hey guys,

my question to you all is will this work on windows 7 x64? ive heard in the past that there are compatibility issues almost to the point where the game is unplayable so i wanted to verify this before i make a purchase.

also, if there are in fact any compatibility issues will the fanpatch fix them or does this only fix issues that are inherent in the game itself regardless of what system its run on.

and finally, if i download and run through the demo and it works fine does this indicate that the full version should run fine?

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've never had any problems with it in Windows 7 x64.

I'm playing it w/o any win 7 issues. The fanpatch just fixes game issues within TQ:IT. It's a safe mod to the game so go ahead and try it and see what you think if it. It uninstalls w/o any problems if you decide that you don't want it anymore.

i cant remember where i saw it doesnt work well but i mean if all u guys havent had a problem i guess ill just go for it its only five bucks so wut the heck. thanks for the input brothas

I have Win 7 64-bit and well I cant get the game to play at all...barely seem to get above 15 FPS in it on main menu...resolution and all settings are on low or off too...

Something isn't right; your system outstrips mine in every respect, but I run W7/64 and I can play the game at 1920x1200 just fine.

I'd be stumped after asking you whether you're running the fan patch and have the latest video drivers installed; someone there might be able to help in more detail.

Plays fine on Win 7 just like it did on Vista. No idea where the OP 'heard' otherwise?

ive seen it on other forums. the guy a few posts above mine is proof that some people have issues with it for whatever reasons. however i just bought the game yesterday im 2 hours into tqit and its been running flawlessly so far. not to mention the game is incredible<3
