So me and my buddy just bought this game, and I was wondering what classes we should play to get a strong combo.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

A good Fighter/Hunter or a Hunter/Mage work well as classes. However strictly speaking If you want to really go at the co-op hard, one of you needs to have good combat skills (ie. Hand to hand w/ tank abilities) while the other should have good range and/or area attack skills. Both of you should also invest in some healing skills too.

I'm playing with my brother at the minute and were running with Dream/Defence tank character (him) and a spirit/nature character (me)

Dream offers some great AOE so its easy to gain threat on lots of different bad guys, then I can heal with nature and summon 2 wolves plus the lich king that can be summoned with spirit. I let my wolves and lich king do the damage while I focus on healing and draining the more powerful opponents while he tried to piss everything off and make it attack him.

It's been a winning formula so far only problem with it is Dream spec is very overpowered. Psionic wave I think it's called basically one shots everything in its path then I clear up the remains lol.

Phantom Strike is the skill in Dream Spec that kills lots of things 1 attack(6 max) though bosses it doesn't do much against them but it still is a strong hit on them, and its on a 16 sec cool down... compared to other classes that have aoe spells with no timer its still ok.

If you want the cheap win you should go for two haruspex (dream + hunting) or a haruspex and a tank (a lot of possibilities for that one, nature+defense, defense + dream, nature + dream might work).

But really, anything goes. And since you can respec with the expansion it's really not that important. The importance of class builds only really shows in the higher difficulties or act 3 normal.
