Great game all around. I'm assuming it's an independent developer; too bad a big named publisher is presiding. I don't particularly like EA, but damn... this is such a creative and fun game. For 15 dollars, I can't believe the amount of crap to do in this game...
The way I see it---
Pros:
~ The voice acting is hilarious, hands down
~ The camera angles are fresh and original
~ Weapon/armor names are equally funny and entertaining
~ Bazillions of side quests
~ You can kill chickens... epic
~ Ran like a charm on my PC (5-10% usage on SLI card #1, 2-3% on SLI card #2)
~ Visually interesting (reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas)
Cons:
~ Maximum resolution didn't want to work for me
~ There's very little character customization beyond items (no talents or skills, etc.)
Overall, I love this game. 15 bucks well spent in my book. ;)

Well the original head honcho developer Ron Gilbert had this as his pet project after his famously known Monkey Island writing so I expected no less here. Personally when you get to the village quests, thats where a lot of folks see the reminders of the wackiness that went on in writing this. (Yay unicorn dung and demonic cherries!)
I just wish there were an easier way to get a second player over steam to play coop with you.

This game is amazing! I just finished it for the first time, took 11 hours but it was the best 11 hours I can remember spending on a game in the last decade and currently antcipating the second play through.
I can't recommend this game highly enough, it is fantastic. It does many things differently from others in its genre and proves they're worth doing.
+ I loved the art style more than anything, beautiful.
+ I loved the 'Equip best armour' button, I don't want to spend time pondering what's got the best stats or what resist I'll need where, the game sorts it all and leaves you to have fun, love it.
+ Also I loved the 'Grinder' in the inventory, an easy way to just sell excess items anytime anywhere so you don't run out of space.
+ Being able to use WASD for movement, worked excellently.
- Would like to see indicators on maps to show you where quests are or where you need to be going, but okay not a big issue. Quest descriptions are brief and succint enough and you can use fortune cookies to 'hint' you where to go and what to do.
- Lack of ranged weapons.
- The bugs that some people have been experiencing aren't great and hopefully will be adressed soon, and it would be nice if a bit more marketing could be done to spread the word, I'm sure it would bring many other players to it and give them a great time too.
++ Roll on Part 2:Thongs of Virtue and anything else this developer throws at us, kudos good sirs!

See that people have issues with their 1920x1080 resolution, but just a note for those with 1920x1200 and wondering if they're going to buy the game or not; I don't have any issues with running 1920x1200 resolution.
Hopefully the others will get their fix.

The bug is that if you are running your desktop at a lower resolution than the max it can do, the game will only see that reduced resolution. If you change your desktop to its max, the game can be set likewise.
Also, the game supports 16:10, 16:9 and 4:3 resolutions so other ratios are not selectable.
Thanks.
