Low Frame Rate

Im having issues in game, mostly low frame rate.
The graphic settings arent doing it, I turned them to max, and to min and its still the same. Its not enough to make it unplayable but enough to... make me not want to play it.

my specs are
processor AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 6000+ 3.10GHz
4 gigs of Ram
Nvidea 9800 GTX+ vid card
running windows 7 64 bit.

Can anyone give me some assistance, this game is fun as crap but especially on tank levels, it gets unplaybale

Same here and it's getting on my nerves because what i can tell is that this game is actually pretty decent, but this problem was there even retail, and i guess that's why it's almost dead.

No fair, the game is actually underrated
