Well i did a little searching through the files and found something nice.
Navigate to the main Program folder and find the file "Quests.xml" Right click and hit Edit.
Search for "XP", to the right will be a number value indicating the amount of EXP you will get for doing that quest. Change the value to between 500-1000 any more then that and you wont get the full benefits.
This will have to be done for every quest line you want to earn extra EXP in and each quest line gives a hint as to what quest it affects.
The other parameters i am unsure of so best not to mess with them unless you care to do a little experimenting but from what ive tried they dont appear to do anything.
Make sure you make a backup of the Quests.xml file before you do any editing.
This "Cheat" does infact work and will level you up faster with every Quest you edit which will in turn make battles a little easier.
Unfortunately i havent found anything to increase gold, and the amount of EXP you get from monsters is unchanged.
Enjoy.
For the record, i found this with the help from another user from a different site however they didnt confirm it actually worked, i am confirming this works and as such i take credit for it, not that it counts for anything lol.
