Blurry Sniper scope??

Picked up the sniper rifle, and the whole thing is blurry...am i missing a zoom/focus button or something, or is there an issue with the game?

If you equip the weapon, you should see scoped crosshairs in the middle of the screen, only the surroundings of the scope should be blurred (IIRC).
