Error Code 80 on launch

Recently purchased the Theater of War package. None of the games launch; they all produce and "error code 80" response. Anyone have suggestions? (My machine is an AMD Phenom II x4, 4 GB ram with an Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT video card.)

Hmm, does Steam report this error when you click 'Play' or games themselves?

Try checking integrity of file cache under steam game properties.

They you for the quick feedback. I did not know about the "verify cache" feature. Oddly enough they are now working despite no intervention on my part; maybe an update occurred in downtime :: shrug ::
