Haha.

I guess someone didn't like me killing them.

My PC was hunkydory when i started playing, i only have 2 games of Domination, i come off and all hell has broken lose on my computer (im writing this on my laptop).

My firefox opens a new window any time i click on a link, and all my windows folder get selected when i just click on 1 folder. All the usual ♥♥♥♥ you get with a virus.

So yeah, another wonderful experience of MW2 ;)

What evidence do you have that the virus came from MW2?

I haven't had a single virus for 3 years.

Playing MW2 was the first thing i did when i turned my comp on, i didn't go on any websites. I exit the game and my computer starts being weird. Running AV now has turned up 2 results so far...Just have to wait a few hours to take an SS for you.

Wow, that is the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing I've heard recently.
You can't get a virus from playing mw2.
you got it from something else and it was a pure coincidence that you noticed it after playing mw2.

virus can come from ads on legit websites, sometime some pays them to put up their ad and sometime dont dont relize that its a virus

I have to disagree with you on that statement. The fact is you can get a virus or trojan from MW2. I got one way back early on in MW2 while connected to a hacked host not by choice but by crappy IWNET matchmaking. This is the problem with P2P games just like with any P2P programs. The short story was I joined a hacked server where every player was on speed and can float in the air. The leader board stats was hacked to show number of pings rather that the current bars. My AV picked it up in the temp folder and quarantined it which I then uploaded to Virustotal and sure enough 60% of the virus scanner identifed it as a malware.

@JimmyMcNulty run Hitman Pro it detect what is there and use Malwarebytes to remove it. Viruses are a ♥♥♥♥♥, Good luck.

Punch your keyboard... A key is stuck.

Most likely the CTRL key.

LOL...right.

Okay, so you have no proof that it was from MW2. Did it happen when you were in a hacked lobby where you would have been able to download a file from the game? If not, pr0nz less.
