It *might* have had something to do with preparations for today's new DLC.

The update was for minor bug fixes and preparations for the latest DLC packs. We needed to make some tweaks before they could be ready.

Not sure why the patch notes weren't put on the Steam news feed then.

I to like to know what gets added and corrected in games through patches. :p

Though I guess some patches change the most mundane of things and do not change the game at all so its not even worth mentioning.
