I have not used Steam since about 2005 or 2006 back when I purchased some old ATI card and it game with a promotional key for HL2 and CS:S. I also bought Counter Strike back in 2001 which was also on the same account. I recently decided to install Steam again after 5 years of never using it and I recovered my old account and logged in but can't find any of my games that were entitled to my account. I know I didn't have a different account and am worried all my games were purged since I have not used Steam in years. Could it be that I'm either missing or not seeing how I can re-add the games I was entitled or did they just disappear. I'm not re-purchasing the games since I already owned them at back in the day I could always re-install Steam and my games were always waiting for me...they just took forever to download to my local drive.

Anyone know what I can do?

I doubt you lost them, make sure your Steam is listing games not installed. Or all games.

Games do not get purged once purchased, if you believe this is an error, and you are sure this is the correct account, and you check what Aldaril suggested, you have to contact Valve Billing and Support (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1223-QROC-4460).

More people have had games removed or accounts disabled. The one fishy thing about steam.

If you signed on to the correct account your games should be there. You own those games for as long as you are breathing baring the end of the world where it won't matter. If you are absolutely possitive it's the right account and nothing is showing contact support. Thats all you can do.

The UI has changed a bit from the good old days of 5 years ago;) so do as Aldaril suggested and make sure your list is showing all games. Since none will be installed yet, they won't show up in the installed list.

every time i saw posting of "games missing" it was always a case of the wrong account. Games cannot be removed from an account, even if you requested it.

but you don't own those games. You are just subscripted to a service that let you use games you paid for to use.

If I understood it correctly.

This answer as nothing to do with what the OP is asking. Don't derail the thread into a discussion regarding game licenses.

OP - Open Steam and navigate to the Steam store. In the top right corner you should see your account name. Click there and it tells you the games registered to that account. What is listed there?
