How to remove the intro and between menu "flashback" movies. Helpful and quick!

Is there anyway I can disable the intro ad well as those stupid videos that play between menus?

How to disable the Corporate Logo and Intro Videos:

Go To:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\main\video

Locate the following files:

treyarch.bik,
frontend.bik,
default.bik

Move Delete or Rename them and you'll load directly to the main splash screen.

How to disable the flashback type videos when yo leave your single player

Go To:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\main\video

Locate the following files:

so_narrative1_frontend_load.bik,
so_narrative2_frontend_load.bik,
so_narrative3_frontend_load.bik,
so_narrative4_frontend_load.bik,
so_narrative5_frontend_load.bik


Move Delete or Rename them and you'll get rid of that annoying video sequence.

You can disable the beginning ones but not the ingame intro. I haven't found it yet. But if you want to get rid of the treyarch screens move or delete treyarch.bik,frontend.bik,default.bik in your \main\video folder. I get to the main menu in 5-6 seconds now.

Just confirmed this my game now loads in 5-6 seconds as well AWESOME!

Now just to kill those pesky between menu "flashback" vids.

Confirmed! I renamed all 5 of the so_narrative1_frontend_load.bik files and that got rid of those god awful videos!

i saw a toggle in the config file, haven't tried it though.

Where did you see the Config file at? I looked in my documents as well as in the steam folders but no luck.

The only thing I saw in the cfg file that looked similar was

seta r_inGameVideo "1"

It also had a lot of what looked like multiplyer settings in it as well.

Any idea if messing with this setting in the cfg file might disable all in game videos including cinematic? Or if it could cause cause VAC issues?

Sorry if the last part sounds noobish but when I started seeing Multiplayer settings in the file as well I just wanted to be sure before I started messing with it.

VAC bans based on dll / exe files. Not configs.
I tried r_inGameVideo 0, but it doesn't even skip the first video, so I don't know what it does.

The zombies! mode feels like a demo/beta where you have to watch a ♥♥♥♥ing trailer/advertisement after every game! Like "PRE-PURCHASE THE GAME NOW BECAUSE THIS COOL HELICOPTER CRASH!!!" its not cool anymore! now its just annoying as ♥♥♥♥.

OMG, this thread solves my ingame crashes/freezes problem.

I renamed all file in that video folder then changed the r_ingamevideo to 0

feel like playing a pirated copy, WTH, now I can play the whole SP campaign.

I deleted those videos this week and now my black ops deleted the whole video folder and its not updating nor let me play. Treyarch did you do something for this?
