Easy Achievement!!! (Bug)

Got this one already and the game is still downloading???
Only brought it 5 minutes ago, never played the demo.
Might be a bug.... :D

Edit: To clarify, it shows as achieved when viewing the game in the Steam Library, but if I click on "View All Achievements" it is not completed.

Well the game finished downloading, and I had my first quick go.
I definitely had that achievement without even playing a game!

Anyway, no big deal, just thought I would report it.

Same thing happened to me, Chen; albeit a bit differently. Upon running the game for the first time, it crashed back to the desktop (never even made it into the game) and the achievement unlocked. LMAO! Easiest Steam cheevo EVER! :cool:

Btw, a simple Windows XP reboot fixed said issue, and the game is now running fine.

I got this achievement without ever playing Slaughter Mode - in fact, I got it just by running the DEMO of the game, having a quick drive around, liking it and quitting the game to buy it. Once purchased, I had the Achievement :-D

It's definitely up there with my prized "Get 25 headshots as Sniper" Team Fortress 2 Achievement, which I got without ever once having played as Sniper :-D

yeah same thing here just bought the game and was downloading it and it says i got 1 achievement already so i checked as i thought it might be you bought the game achievement or something lol.. but na its the devil told me to do it... destroy 666 things or something lol

It is a new bug, we have fixed it just now.
Obviously you can't check if it works ok, because you have this achievement already.
Only new people can. Tell us if it is still broken.

yeah i only bought the game today as well november 17th.... and as i was downloading it gave me that 1 achievement... anyway it doesnt matter ive played the game and like it alot... its tough to get some of them golds lol but anyway as long as its fun i can do without the 1 achievement i was given for free :)
